Charlie Bereal is a multifaceted music artist, producer, songwriter and guitarist whose breadth of experience bridges elite studio engineering, live performance virtuosity and soulful solo artistry. Born in Pasadena, California, into a family steeped in music, he began playing guitar at age nine and honed his craft each Sunday in his grandfather’s church band.
Over a 20-plus-year career, Charlie built his reputation behind the scenes, writing, producing and performing for icons such as Aaliyah (“More Than a Woman”), Missy Elliott, Jay‑Z, Toni Braxton, and many others.
Now stepping fully into the spotlight as solo recording artist, Charlie fuses his deep roots in R&B and soul with modern production sensibilities. His project Walk With The Father — released under Death Row Records in partnership with Snoop Dogg — marks a milestone in his evolution.
